Our Mission
To educate, inform and empower Montanans to demand and enforce strong and sustaining policies that stop geo-engineering, weather modification and other polluting experiments in our atmosphere—protecting people and the natural world we all depend on for life.
How It Started
Montana’s Legislature Took Up SB473 to ban Weather Modification. It passed the Senate, but lost in the House by a handful of votes.
Not a new topic.
The first Weather Modification bill passed in Montana in 1967.
It was revisited in 1993 and modified.
Citizens were curious about the legislative outcome, recognizing states were passing and considering laws to stop geo-engineering and weather modification programs.
Big Clean Skies Montana was established as an authentic, independent, grassroots, citizen-led group without affiliation. Our work is focused on the health and prosperity of Montanans without adulteration of our atmosphere.
What We Have In Common
In One Word – Health
Montanans had one primary concern. That of their health, their animals, land, farms, ranches food and families.
We know that we were designed to thrive in a natural world of abundance. Instead we were seeing loss.
Many had long ago associated the cause and effect to trails they could see in the sky. Most independently did their own research to find our skies being privatized and monetized to distribute atmospheric pollutants without our consent.
